Dr. Rano was born and raised in upstate New York. He graduated from The Temple School of Podiatric Medicine in 1998. Dr. Reagan Parrish is a North Carolina native. She was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC and spent many of her summers enjoying the Crystal Coast. Known as an architect and pioneer of innovative approaches to foot and ankle care, Ben Wehrli, DPM, has built an international reputation for exceptional patient care and effective treatment solutions. Dr. Wehrli treats patients at Coachella Valley Foot and Ankle Institute, located in Rancho Mirage, California.

After completing his Bachelor of Science in microbiology, with an emphasis in medical technology, from Idaho State University, Dr. Wehrli was accepted into medical school. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Iowa.  

Dr. Wehrli then went through a highly competitive foot and ankle surgical residency at the nationally renowned Detroit Medical Center through Wayne State University in Michigan. Shortly after completing his educational requirements, Dr. Wehrli went on to become board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Before coming to Coachella Valley Foot and Ankle Institute, Dr. Wehrli worked at Desert Regional Medical Center’s Institute of Clinical Orthopedics and Neurosciences. Dr. Hinderland spent his childhood in several states, including Arizona, California, and Pennsylvania. He began his professional pursuits at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

He subsequently enrolled at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Hinderland completed a three-year surgical and podiatry residency at Highlands/Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. He also spent several years practicing at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group in Rockville, Maryland, performing the group’s first-ever total ankle replacements.
