Matthew Rogell, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group. He has practiced in the greater Danbury, Connecticut, area since 2006.

Andrew Peretz, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in spinal surgery. Victor Khabie, MD, FAAOS, FACS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group. He is Co-Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York.

He provides personalized care to patients at the practice’s locations in Mount Kisco and  Fishkill,  New York, and Danbury, Connecticut.

Dr. Khabie received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, followed by an internship in general surgery at the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. After his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City, he went on to complete his fellowship in sports medicine surgery at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, a world-renowned center in diagnosing and treating orthopaedic and sports medicine injuries.

During his fellowship, Dr. Khabie cared for the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Mighty Ducks, Los Angeles Sparks, and the University of Southern California football and basketball teams.

Dr. Khabie is a leading expert in the field of orthopaedic sports medicine surgery and possesses a particular interest in shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery, as well as robotic- assisted knee replacement surgery. He is the creator of a unique, patented knee brace with a multidimensional neoprene support called the “Victory Knee Brace,” which was first introduced at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting in San Francisco in 2004.

He is a Diplomate of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and possesses a subspecialty certificate in orthopaedic sports medicine. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Khabie is the former Chief of Surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital, where he is also the co-director of the Orthopaedic and Spine Institute. He is a former Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU and currently is an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York Medical College. Dr Khabie serves as the Medical Director and Orthopedic Surgeon to Pace University Athletics, an NCAA Division II sports program.

When Dr. Khabie is not performing arthroscopic surgery, he is a senior ringside physician for the New York State Athletic Commission, where he cares for professional boxers and has been ringside for numerous world championship bouts. He also cares for professional, collegiate, high school and recreational athletes.

Dr. Khabie is a published author of medical literature and has made numerous presentations to both local and national groups. He was the sports medicine column writer for a local newspaper, The Patent Trader. He has appeared on NBC News, The Today Show, and local TV programs. Board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, Stuart Styles, MD, FAAOS, has been with the team at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group since 1997. He currently treats patients at the practice locations in Fishkill, Mount Kisco, Newburgh, and Carmel, New York.

Dr. Styles is a graduate of Hofstra University and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he earned his medical degree in 1991. He served as chief resident of orthopaedic surgery at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he was also an orthopaedic research fellow.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and Westchester County Medical Society. Until recently, Dr. Styles was a committee member of the Putnam Hospital Health Information Management Committee, was the Co-Director of Joint Replacement Surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital, and sat on the Board of Trustees at Trinity-Pawling School. Daniel Smith, MD, FAAOS, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. He sees patients at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group in Carmel, Fishkill, and Mount Kisco, New York, as well as Danbury, Connecticut.

Dr. Smith graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in human development. He earned his medical degree at New York University Grossman School of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center, affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then pursued fellowship training in adult reconstruction at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, focusing on complex hip and knee replacement, revision hip and knee replacement, and robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery.
