About Dr. Muradov

 

Pavel Muradov, MD, is a dual fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee surgery at Integrity Orthopedics in Katy, Texas. The focus of his practice is on high-quality adult knee and hip reconstruction with an emphasis on multimodal pain control.

Originally born in Moscow, Russia, Dr. Muradov was raised in Siberia, and trained in the United States. He later graduated from the University of Houston in 2006, earning a double major in chemistry and biology. He then graduated from the University of Texas – Galveston and completed his orthopedic surgical residency at the University of California, San Francisco-Fresno joint program. In 2015, he returned to Houston for a one-year adult hip and knee reconstruction fellowship at the Texas Medical Center. The following year, he completed an intensive, minimally invasive anterior hip fellowship in Belgium. 

In the interim, he has been working as a contracting surgeon delivering orthopedic care to underserved areas of the United States. He has also authored several peer-reviewed articles and has been invited to speak at national conferences on various orthopedic topics.

In 2017, Dr. Muradov partnered with Houston Methodist to provide patients with the most up-to-date care relating to hip and knee problems. Since then, he has expanded to the HCA and Herman health systems to accommodate all of his patients and their insurance plans.

ABOUT DR. WAYNE O. ALANI, MD

Wayne O. Alani, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon serving patients from in and around Sugar Land and Houston, Texas. He is proud of the positive impact his practice has on the men and women who turn to him for joint health care. Dr. Alani’s educational journey began at Texas A&M in his hometown of Bryan, Texas. He went on to study medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where he earned his medical degree. He further refined his skill set through an internship and an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical School in Wichita, Kansas. Continuing education is one of Dr. Alani’s most deeply held priorities, which is why he pursued a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children in St. Louis, Missouri. He continues to search for educational opportunities that enable him to expand his medical services.

Dr. Alani is trained and experienced in a wide range of orthopedic conditions. Dr. Amun Makani is a Harvard-trained, double board-certified orthopedic surgeon and orthopedic sports medicine specialist. Dr. Makani is an active fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Makani offers state-of-the-art diagnostics and innovative, personalized care to treat painful orthopaedic issues and sports injuries including complex knee cartilage and ligamentous injuries, shoulder pathology including rotator cuff injuries and advanced arthritis in all major joints.

Dr. Makani graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern University and was inducted into the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society for his achievement in Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Makani earned his Doctor of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.

He was selected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, an honor given to the top of one’s medical school class. He was selected to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency at the ivy league University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, the oldest orthopaedic residency in the country.

Following his residency, Dr. Makani completed additional rigorous fellowship training in orthopaedic sports medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Makani also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.

Dr. Makani has years of experience in clinical and athletic environments. In addition to conventional orthopedic care, he also provides newer modalities including injection treatments to help patients get back to their regular activities quickly.
