After earning her degree in finance and marketing at Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, she graduated with a master’s degree in traditional Chinese medicine from New York City Traditional Chinese Medicine. Jieru completed an internship at Gouverneur Hospital in New York City, where she treated post-stroke patients.
She also cared for children undergoing chemotherapy at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey. Jieru returned to China to learn about and train in acupressure before opening Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Wellness Center. Her team welcomes new and existing clients to the practice.

After completing a BA and MBA, she attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine for four years and obtained her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She moved to New York and completed her acupuncture training at the Tristate College of Acupuncture in New York City. She is an adjunct professor at Mercy College where she teaches nutrition and physiology.
