Dr. Baig received his medical degree from Aga Khan Medical College and has been in practice for 25 years. He completed his internship in general surgery at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He then completed an internal medicine residency at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Dr. Baig rounded out his medical training with an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Lousiville in Kentucky, a cardiology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, and post-doctoral research at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Baig is board-certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology, with special training and interest in interventional cardiology.
Wasiq Rawasia MD, MS, FACC, FSCAI serves patients in Northwest Houston, Spring, Tomball, and Cypress as a board-certified cardiologist at the Heart Care Center of Northwest Houston. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital, CHI St. Luke's Health - The Vintage Hospital, and HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress.
Dr. Rawasia received his medical degree from The Aga Khan University - Medical College, and completed his internal medicine residency and general cardiology training at University of Louisville in Louisville, KY. He then went on complete his interventional cardiology fellowship at West Virginia University- Heart & Vascular Institute in Morgantown, WV.
Dr. Rawaia is board-certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, vascular medicine, and echocardiography. His areas of expertise include interventional and structural cardiovascular medicine, high-risk & complex interventions, cardiac critical care, and general cardiovascular medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Rawasia enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and watching sports.
