Dr. Stanline Anto, PT, DPT received his Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from India and his Doctorate from Utica college in NY. Stan has eight years of experience, spending his last three years with Reddy Care. I began in Reddy Care’s home therapy program, where I was for two years, and now I am working in the clinic. I support all of the therapists at the Great Neck location, along with the techs and the front desk. I ensure that patient care is optimal and that every patient has a pleasant experience and that they reach their treatment goals.
Ariella is a patient turned occupational therapist that has a passion for what she does because she saw what it did for her and wants to do the same for others. She has a Bachelors in Psychology, Bachelors in Health Sciences, and a Masters in Occupational Therapy. She believes that the psychosocial component of OT is just as if not more important than the physical and that’s a mentality that she uses when treating patients and trying to help them live life to the fullest despite any perceived limitations.
Dr. Shane Smith is a Board Certified chiropractor who serves the residents of Newington and Torrington, Connecticut as well as many of the nearby communities. At Modern Chiropractic, the doctor and his staff treat a wide variety of health conditions and injuries. Dr. Shane believes in treating the 'whole' person. With over 20 years of experience, the doctor specializes in using state-of-the-art equipment to both diagnose and treat many common illnesses. He is also capable of handling injuries associated with automobile and other types of accidents.
Dr. Shane graduated from Palmer College Chiropractic - Davenport in 2003. With his many years of experience, the doctor tries to find the cause of an illness or injury instead of simply addressing the symptoms. An imbalance in the spinal column can have a dramatic impact on other areas of the body. By uncovering the cause of the imbalance, the doctor can correct the problem at its source, eliminating the symptoms and allowing the patient to heal. Dr Kena McDermott graduated from the University of Bridgeport as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2019 and has served the Farmington Valley area since. She completed her Master’s in Clinical Nutrition in 2020 and practices functional nutrition. In addition she has advanced training in the treatment of fascia related disorders and is a Certified Fascial Manipulation Specialist®.
Dr McDermott is an active researcher who has studied fascia for 9 years and her published research on fascia has been presented internationally. Her other research focus areas include chronic pain, genetic polymorphisms, nutrition, general chiropractic and migraine. She currently works as a Research Associate at Yale School of Medicine and teaches Evidence Based Practice at the University of Bridgeport.
Dr. White joined Valley Chiropractic & Sports Medicine in October 2022. Previously, he was in solo practice in Rowley, MA for nearly 30 years. Dr. White graduated from New York Chiropractic College after he received his B.S. in biopsychology from Bates College. While in college he worked as a student athletic trainer, played varsity soccer, and captained the varsity lacrosse team his senior year.
He is very happy to be in a group practice which offers myriad treatment approaches. Dr. White enjoys working with patients from teenagers to seniors and has a particular interest in athletes.
Dr. White employs various techniques to help as many patients as possible. He uses traditional hands-on manual manipulation, Activator (instrument-assisted adjustments), stretching, and Active Release Techniques. He looks forward to soon being able to provide DOT physical exams for commercial drivers.
Dr White has 3 daughters and currently lives in Simsbury with his wife Elaine & their dog Nash
