J.V. Chiropractic was founded in 1998 and established in 2000 by Jonas Vorzimer, DC, to bring wellness care and optimal health to women, men, and children in Walnut Creek, California, and surrounding neighborhoods. At J.V. Chiropractic, you have access to a full range of chiropractic and holistic therapies that help your body reach its natural state of self-healing.
Dr. Vorzimer received his bachelor of science degree from California State Hayward in Hayward, California, in 1993. He then earned his doctor of chiropractic from Life West Chiropractic College in Hayward, California, in 1996. Since attaining his chiropractic license, he’s helped patients throughout California achieve and maintain wellness.
In addition to practicing traditional chiropractic spinal adjustment techniques, such as the Diversified and Gonstead methods, Dr. Vorzimer also uses techniques like Activator and Upper Cervical Technique. Activator treatment utilizes a handheld device that delivers fast, low-force impulses to correct subluxations and align the spine, so your body functions more smoothly.
At J.V. Chiropractic, Dr. Vorzimer teaches you about proper nutrition and how to use supplements to nourish your cells and improve overall function. Through massage and physical therapy, he helps your muscles, tendons, and ligaments get stronger and more flexible so you can perform better in sports, work, and life. He also teaches stress-management techniques to relieve tension in your body and help you feel your best every day.
Dedicated to the Walnut Creek community, Dr. Vorzimer not only helps his patients, but also reaches out to the public to educate them about chiropractic, holistic medicine, and nutrition. He and his staff at J.V. Chiropractic welcome you to their wellness family.

Chuck Lee is a California State Certified Massage Therapist (CAMTC) who graduated with a terminal degree in massage therapy. At Numo Acupuncture clinic, he offers a unique approach to bodywork by combining his background of Qi Gong - an ancient energy practice rooted in Chinese Medicine - in tandem with his formal education which emphasizes an up-to-date, research-based view of massage therapy. His intuitive massage techniques work together with the body’s nervous system; he discourages mashing and bullying muscle tissues. During the session he frequently gives instructions on mindfulness and breathing, so that you feel a sense of cooperative effort in reaching a level of effective and precise results massage therapy should actually provide.
He has successfully worked on a variety of physical challenges such as carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic headaches, ankle and knee injuries, neck pain, and chronic lower back pain. He specializes in improving poor desk posture and chronically tight keyboard fingers, wrists and forearms. Chuck has also brought palpable results in the recovery and performance of athletes who train in the world of Crossfit, calisthenics and boxing. Though well versed in his practice, Chuck values preventative measures and self-care as much as external treatment and manual therapy. He can be found regularly practicing Qi Gong, enjoying hip-hop music, and finding new ways to incorporate avocados in his breakfast.
