Carmen Bucksell, LMT, is a licensed massage therapist at One Alkaline Life, a wellness and mental health practice based in Waldorf, Maryland. With nearly 20 years of experience, Carmen brings a compassionate, intuitive approach to bodywork that supports both physical and emotional well-being.
Carmen began her professional journey as an elementary school teacher, where her passion for helping others first took root. After five years in the classroom, she felt called to explore a different kind of healing—one focused on the mind-body connection. That calling led her to massage therapy, and she has been committed to supporting clients on their wellness journeys ever since.
Specializing in therapeutic massage for relaxation, stress relief, and muscle tension, Carmen creates a calm and restorative experience for every client. Her sessions are designed to meet each person’s unique needs, whether they are looking to unwind, manage chronic discomfort, or simply reconnect with their body in a safe and nurturing space.
At One Alkaline Life, Carmen plays an important role in the holistic care of clients, complementing mental health therapy with body-based healing. Her goal is to help individuals feel more at ease, balanced, and supported in their overall health.
