Whittni earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling in 2019 from Spring Arbor University. She is currently licensed through the State of Michigan as a Licensed Professional Counselor. In addition, she holds several professional credentials, including National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and maintains a Development Plan for Clinical Supervisor through the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals.
Whittni has over six years of experience in the field of addictions and currently serves as a therapist at Recovery Pathways, LLC. She works with adults, adolescents, and families, providing both substance use and mental health counseling. Her professional experience includes work with Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and incarcerated populations. She also facilitates group therapy focused on addiction, trauma, co-occurring disorders, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
As her career has progressed, Whittni has grown into several leadership roles within her organization. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Human Resource Officer, and Clinical Supervisor. While she maintains a smaller clinical caseload, her primary focus is on administration, program development, staff support, and ensuring quality care across services.

Julie Gordon joined Blue Water Counseling in 2010. Ms. Gordon lived in the Croswell area for 48 years with her husband. Together they raised 4 children and have 9 grandchildren. They also share their home with a 11 year-old Schnauzer, a two-year-old and one-year old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel.
Ms. Gordon was a stay at home mom until she was 41, and then returned to school to earn her associate degree, bachelors degree, and then a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology (in 2007). While completing her master's degree, Ms. Gordon also became a Certified Advanced Alcohol and other Drug Counselor. Her career up until joining BWC was working in inpatient substance abuse rehabilitation. She still really enjoys working with this population. She also enjoys working with women suffering anxiety and depression or weight issues.

Bernita Fuller has worked as a clinician at Blue Water Counseling since 2014. She has worked in the field in various clinical positions since 1998. Her wide breadth of experience includes working with individuals of all ages, ranging from children to the geriatric population, in settings as diverse as juvenile/family court, schools, and both inpatient and outpatient mental health. Bernita earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Michigan – Flint in 1979. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Counseling from Oakland University in 1998 with a Specialization in Child and Adolescent Counseling. In 2005 she earned another Specialization, this time in School Counseling from Oakland University. Bernita is a trauma-informed therapist, who employs cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal strategies in sessions to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals. Her deep compassion for others and genuine authenticity help individuals feel comfortable, respected and seen.
