Nathan Christensen, DDS, brings more than a decade of experience in dentistry and endodontics to Ramona Family Dentistry in Ramona, California.
Dr. Christensen earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery with high honors from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California. Since entering private practice, Dr. Christensen has dedicated countless hours to augmenting his professional skills, including the completion of an extensive continuum in endodontics at the University of California Los Angeles and a certificate in advanced comprehensive esthetics from McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry in Aliso Viejo, California. Dr. Christensen also earned a certificate from the Zimmer Implant Institute and is a preferred provider for Invisalign®.
Professionally, Dr. Christensen is an advocate for biomimetic – or minimally invasive – dentistry. Whenever possible, he works to preserve his patients’ natural tooth structure, using safe and effective techniques. Dr. Christensen also knows that it isn’t always easy to visit the dentist. He works to provide a comfortable, welcoming experience for all of his patients and maintains a license to perform oral conscious sedation. “I had a top tooth that broke off flush with the gum line. They had to extract just the roots without anything to grab on to. I don't like needles but I didn't feel the needle. My case was a bit more difficult but there was NO PAIN at all. I am writing this review 8 hours later and it's like I never had extraction done. No pain at all. The girls in the front office are wonderful. All the assistants helping the dentist are wonderful. They actually make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. I give them 10 stars not 5.”
Artin Meserkhani, DDS, MBA, is a skilled orthodontist at LA Dentists Group in Glendale and Pasadena, California. Raised in a family with a legacy of dental professionals, Dr. Meserkhani spent his youth admiring the practice of dentistry.
As he grew up, Dr. Meserkhani would spend his summers observing his uncle, who practiced as a general dentist, and working hands-on with his father, who owns a dental laboratory. His father and uncle instilled the love to provide compassionate care to dental patients in him from a very young age. He pursued this passion for dentistry at the University of California, San Diego, for his bachelor’s in biochemistry and cell biology. He continued to Loma Linda Dental School.
Afterward, Dr. Meserkhani completed a one-year post-graduate internship in orthodontics at Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, Nevada, while practicing as a general dentist. He then completed his three-year residency at the school, earning his dual degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, his specialty certificate, and his master’s in Business Administration. Not only is Dr. Meskerhani highly skilled in the latest technologies in orthodontics, but he also has a radiant personality that makes orthodontist visits fun and relaxing.
When not treating patients, Dr. Meserkhani is a sports enthusiast, coaching a local basketball league and supporting the AYSO soccer team. He is also a member of the Armenian association, helping out whenever he can.
Mani Matin, DDS, provides expert general dentistry services to patients of all ages at Esthetic Partners Dental Group, in Ontario, California.
Dr. Matin completed his undergraduate education at George Mason University and Virginia Commonwealth University. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. In addition, he shadowed Dr. Cyrus Akhbari in pediatric dentistry and training experiences at Pediatric Dental Care in Sterling, Virginia, and Northridge Dental Group in California. He also participated in implant training and is Invisalign certified.
Following his formal training, Dr. Matin worked in a variety of dentistry settings throughout California and Massachusetts where he provided dental care for adults and children.
Dr. Matin stays up to date on the latest advancements in the field of dentistry and he is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and American Dental Education Association.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Matin spends his time volunteering for various organizations. He also enjoys cycling, photography, traveling, hiking, skiing, tennis, soccer, and swimming.
