Sumra Ahmad, DDS, is a skilled dentist at Smile Dental Clinic in Falls Church and Herndon, Virginia.
Dr. Ahmad grew up in Northern Virginia and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. While in dental school, she has had the opportunity to gain experience at various free dental clinics throughout Virginia. She was also selected to travel to Jamaica in order to serve individuals in need of dental care, where she volunteered in 2015. After graduation, she returned to Falls Church, Virginia, to practice alongside her mother, Dr. Farah Ahmad.
Dr. Sumra Ahmad enjoys keeping up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry and has training in CAD/CAM technology. Dr. Ahmad also obtained training and certification with Hiossen for placing dental implants.

Dr. Duckett has been practicing dentistry since 1995. He is currently a faculty member of the Department of Removable Prosthodontics, Howard University College of Dentistry, where he has received numerous “Outstanding Clinical Teacher Awards” . He had successfully completed a comprehensive one-year Dental Implant training program at Howard University and served as a Program Director’s Assistant. He was also the Principal Investigator of several research projects affiliated with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
As a researcher, Dr. Duckett has extensive knowledge in the latest advances in Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. As an educator, Dr. Duckett feels our greatest service is in educating our patients. He takes time to explain patients’ dental needs and addressing all their concerns and questions. Dr. Abasin Safi began his academic career at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He subsequently obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine.
After several years of practicing general dentistry, Dr. Safi pursued advanced training in endodontics at Oregon Health & Science University. There, he completed a comprehensive residency program known for its strong surgical curriculum and evidence-based clinical approach.
Dr. Safi is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
