Joseph D. Calandra, MD, FACR, is a board-certified radiologist with more than 40 years of clinical experience. He leads the experienced medical team at Mass Medical Imaging in Lake Forest, Illinois.
Dr. Calandra attended Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, for his undergraduate degree. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Calandra completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. He was named President of the House Staff Association and Chief Radiology Resident during his residency.
Throughout his career, Dr. Calandra has held numerous professional offices and faculty appointments. He has authored more than 20 publications and papers and delivered more than 10 presentations on his research.
Dr. Calandra brings unmatched experience and leading medical imaging technology to his patients at Mass Medical Imaging. He specializes in advanced diagnostics and risk assessment for breast health, with services that include mammograms, biopsies, and automated breast ultrasound (ABUS) testing.
Along with his board certification, Dr. Calandra is a National Board of Medical Examiners Diplomate and a Fellow of the American College of Radiology. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Nuclear Physicians, the Chicago Medical Association, and the Illinois Radiological Society.
Dr. Calandra has received many awards throughout his career, including Humanitarian of the Year from the Illinois Crime Commission in 2012, the Distinguished Gold Medal Award from the Chicago Radiological Society in 2015, and CH Escamilla, MD, Radiology Teacher of the Year in 2006, 2013, and 2020.
Howard Jeon, DMD, is a leading teaching and practicing maxillofacial prosthodontist with 20 plus years in general and cosmetic dentistry, with his main practice at Advanced Implant Dentistry & MedSpa of North Shore in Glenview, Illinois. He is one of only five maxillofacial prosthodontists active in the state of Illinois, and he strives to provide the utmost in visually appealing and functional results for each of his patients.
Dr. Jeon began his numerous years in academia at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts. Shortly after, he moved to Philadelphia to attend the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Jeon moved back to the Chicago area for specialty training in prosthodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He finished his formal training with a subspecialty fellowship in maxillofacial prosthetics and dental oncology at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Outside of Advanced Implant Dentistry & Medspa of North Shore, Dr. Jeon is both a teacher and an ongoing student of his discipline. He is an assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and lectures both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Jeon holds professional memberships with the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Congress on Maxillofacial Rehabilitation. Plus, he was an attending maxillofacial prosthodontist at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center for over 20 years.

She was an emergency room nurse at Aurora Sinai Medical Center for 3 years before attending the Marquette University School of Dentistry to receive her DDS degree in 2008. She completed a post-graduate residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. Her background as a nurse motivated her to seek an area of dentistry where she could use her wide variety of skills and clinical experience to better serve her community.
