Phyllis Skolnik, MD, is a Board-Certified Dermatologist at Luminary Dermatology. The dermatology practice has 10 locations, and Dr. Skolnik sees patients at the Kendall office in Miami, Florida.
After earning her medical degree from New York Medical College (NYMC) in Valhalla, New York, Dr. Skolnik underwent residency at The University of Miami’s School of Medicine in Miami.
Following these accomplishments, she completed a year-long fellowship training in treating acne vulgaris. Since then, Dr. Skolnik has been practicing dermatology for nearly 50 years and applying her dermatological skills in Miami.

Now part of Luminary Dermatology’s team of expert providers, Dr. Skolnik plans to continue seeing patients for the remainder of her career in the same location in Miami where she’s spent the past five and a half years.

George Glinos, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Dermatology of Miami in Miami and Miami Lakes, Florida. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, he brings extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, alopecia, and skin cancer. Dr. Glinos also offers advanced cosmetic dermatology services, including Botox®, dermal fillers, and laser treatments.
Originally from Orlando, Dr. Glinos earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Florida before completing his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and completed a prestigious research fellowship focused on chronic wound care. His postgraduate training includes an internal medicine internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital and a dermatology residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Glinos has contributed to 11 peer-reviewed journal articles and several book chapters and has presented his work at national conferences. He is committed to staying at the forefront of dermatologic innovation and patient care.
