With over 20 years of medical and cosmetic dermatology experience, Dr. Guevara also has extensive knowledge and a keen understanding of diet and nutrition. She received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Florida (UF) in Gainesville.
Dr. Guevara quickly started her Dermatology career at The New York Institute of Technology College Of Osteopathy. She earned her DO degree in Osteopathic Medicine in 2001 and received the National Institutes of Health Research grant.
Her career has been marked by excellence and innovation, starting as a Research Fellow within the Department of Dermatology and Voluntary Professor at the University of Miami.
Throughout her career, Dr. Guevara collaborated on extensive studies and publications of many journal articles relating to anti-aging and anti-cancer. As part of her experience, she completed a transitional internship at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute and followed as Chief Resident of Wellington Regional Medical Center.

Phyllis Skolnik, MD, is a Board-Certified Dermatologist at Luminary Dermatology. The dermatology practice has 10 locations, and Dr. Skolnik sees patients at the Kendall office in Miami, Florida.
After earning her medical degree from New York Medical College (NYMC) in Valhalla, New York, Dr. Skolnik underwent residency at The University of Miami’s School of Medicine in Miami.
Following these accomplishments, she completed a year-long fellowship training in treating acne vulgaris. Since then, Dr. Skolnik has been practicing dermatology for nearly 50 years and applying her dermatological skills in Miami.
