Danielle King, PA-C is a Certified Physician Assistant at Warrenton Dermatology & Skin Therapy Center, specializing in medical and surgical dermatology. She is honored to serve patients within the Warrenton community and surrounding areas.

Danielle earned her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Maryland (Baltimore) and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Prior to her Physician Assistant studies, Danielle obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology while playing Division I field hockey at Davidson College in North Carolina.

Danielle gained years of clinical experience in dermatology as a Mohs Surgical Technician, where she assisted Mohs surgeons in removing skin cancers and performing aesthetically pleasing repairs. She underwent an intensive medical dermatology clinical rotation during Physician Assistant training, and has also trained extensively in specialized medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology under Dr. Caballero and in Mohs surgery under Dr. Dolan.

Danielle is committed to utilizing the latest advancements in dermatology to provide the highest quality care to her patients. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, recently completed a rigorous 6-month Derm Boot Camp with Dr. Boswell, and participates in Dermatology Journal Club.

Outside of the practice, Danielle enjoys playing golf, pickleball, and taking adventures with her fiancé and golden retriever, Jax.

Drawing on more than 25 years of medical experience Clement Banda, MD, RPhS, founder of MD Vein & Skin Specialists in Owen Brown and Columbia, Maryland, transformed his practice into a leading provider of minimally invasive vein and skin procedures. Dr. Banda was an early adopter of laser medicine and surgery, and is now an industry leader with a focus on dermatologic surgery and phlebology, or vein specialty.

Dr. Banda holds a medical degree from the University of Zimbabwe in Harare, Zimbabwe. He made his way to the United States for his post-doctoral training at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, and George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Meredith Sagal, CRNP, FNP-C, DCNP, is a board-certified dermatology nurse practitioner at Dermatology & Advanced Skin Care in Columbia, Maryland.

Meredith graduated cum laude from Villanova University in Pennsylvania with her bachelor’s degree in nursing. After graduating, she began her career as a trauma intensive care nurse at the world-renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Meredith then attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, obtaining her master’s degree in nursing.

Meredith has attained a vast medical knowledge base throughout her many years of providing medical care in areas such as emergency medicine, trauma, orthopedics, and surgical intensive care.

She has been practicing at Dermatology & Advanced Skin Care since 2020 and has worked in dermatology since 2017. She treats various dermatologic conditions and performs skin cancer screenings, biopsies, and cosmetic procedures. Meredith has advanced training in Botox, dermal fillers, laser, and medical-grade skin care product lines. She is particularly interested in treating acne, eczema, and psoriasis.

Smitha Kuppalli, MD, is a physician partner at Dermatology & Advanced Skin Care in Columbia, Maryland. She is a board-certified dermatologist and has been with the practice since 2015. 

Dr. Kuppalli received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. 

Before returning to her home roots in Howard County, she was on faculty at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville and, more recently, was an assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology at Columbia University in New York, New York.

Dr. Dawn attended Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusets, for his undergraduate studies and received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. 

After his internship at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, he completed his dermatology residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Then, he completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology. 

Dr. Dawn has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters and has presented at national dermatology and dermatologic surgery meetings. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Dermatology Foundation, and the Skin Cancer Foundation. 

Dr. Dawn has extensive experience in Mohs surgery for skin cancer and reconstructive surgery. He joined Dermatology & Advanced Skin Care in 2011.

Nicholas Girardi, MD, is a physician partner at Dermatology & Advanced Skin Care in Columbia, Maryland. Dr. Girardi has offered various dermatology services at the office since 2018.
