Dr. Martinez obtained his Bachelor of Science at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, graduating cum laude with a major in biology and minors in chemistry, psychology, and history. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine, graduating in the upper third of his class at the University of Miami Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in otolaryngology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, an affiliate of his alma mater, and served as acting chief resident during the final two years of his medical training.
Dr. Martinez is board-certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and board-eligible by the American Academy of Otolaryngology Allergy. Paul Lapco, MD, provides exceptional ear, nose, and throat (ENT) care at his practice, Dr. Paul Lapco, ENT, in Pompano Beach, Florida. In addition to offering comprehensive care for the full scope of ENT conditions, he performs many minimally invasive procedures, such as balloon sinuplasty, as well as advanced endoscopic surgery.
A native of Venezuela, Dr. Lapco finished medical school at the renowned Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela. He went on to complete his residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
After completing his training in Pittsburgh, Dr. Lapco relocated and established his residence in South Florida, where he has practiced since 2001.
Since receiving certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology in 2001, Dr. Lapco has continued his quest for ongoing training to ensure he provides excellent medical care to each patient. He stays up-to-date with today’s most advanced ear, nose, and throat treatments by participating in professional meetings and training programs.

Dr. Erin Andersson specializes in comprehensive audiological evaluations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid fittings, troubleshooting hearing aids, and aural rehabilitation.
Erin has been practicing audiology since 1999. She earned her doctorate degree at Arizona School of Health Science, her master’s degree from California State University, Los Angeles, and her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. She is board-certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Throughout her career, she has held positions at prominent medical institutions, including The University of Miami and Miami Children’s Hospital. She has also worked in private practice and ENT offices.
She is dedicated to providing excellent care to her patients. She is committed to ensuring that every patient receives the best hearing care they can receive by listening to her patients’ needs and always keeping up-to-date on the latest technology from the industry’s leading manufacturers.
What makes her unique is that her brother was born with a hearing loss, so she understands the daily struggles that someone with hearing loss encounters.
