Earning her medical degree from the University of Munich, Dr. Lengyel pursued further training in obstetrics and gynecology while in Germany before moving to the United States to work as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of California San Francisco. After publishing multiple articles and book chapters, Dr. Lengyel returned to clinical medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at West Suburban Medical Center.
Her treatment philosophy is to appreciate that every patient is different and in turn, to provide them with the deserved individual attention and treatment. She believes in listening to patients, educating them about their diagnosis and treatment options, and caring about their wellbeing. James Hawkins, DO, is a vein specialist certified by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, with over 30 years of experience. At Fox Valley Vein Centers, Dr. Hawkins serves patients living in and around Sandwich, Yorkville, and Aurora, Illinois.
Dr. Hawkins was born just outside of Chicago in Evergreen Park. He earned his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College, located in Lisle, Illinois, followed by his medical degree from the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. Dr. Hawkins then completed his subsequent residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, located in Chicago.
Today, Dr. Hawkins is a registered vascular technologist and a registered physician in vascular interpretation.
