I have been practicing nursing since 1996. I have experience in ICU settings, emergency room nursing, I’ve worked in surgery; in cardiac intensive care and cardiovascular ICU. In 2008, I completed my family practice MSN degree. My nurse practitioner career began in Dyersburg but quickly migrated to Halls, Tn. From 2009 to 2015, I practiced family medicine with Dr. BG Robbins, M.D.
For over 16 years, I have had the opportunity to do what I love-being a Family Physician. Being a patient’s physician is one of the greatest honors and privileges. I have been invited to be a part of the special times, and have shared the difficult times. No matter whether we have celebrated or cried, my patients and I have experienced life together.
After years of working in a healthcare system that does not value this type of personal relationship, I discovered a healthcare model called Direct Primary Care that restores the patient-physician relationship.
