Prior to joining Whole Health Chicago, Brett worked in OBGYN clinics where she was able to treat a variety of conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, PMS, PMDD, depression, anxiety, and perimenopausal/menopausal symptoms. She is trained in contraceptive management, including IUD/Nexplanon insertions and removals.
Brett received her MSN from Vanderbilt University, where she gained a plethora of experience working not only in general primary care and OBGYN clinics but also in specialty clinics such as memory care, sleep medicine, Vanderbilt’s PCOS Clinic, and Vanderbilt’s Clinic for Transgender Health.
Dr. Zahir is a board-certified sleep medicine physician committed to helping patients achieve better sleep and overall health. With a compassionate and patient-centered approach, she specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, hypersomnia, insomnia and circadian rhythm issues.
Dr. Zahir received her Sleep Medicine fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin. She has a particular interest in the intersection of sleep and metabolic health, with a focus on obesity medicine and its impact on sleep quality. By addressing the root causes of sleep disturbances, she empowers patients to improve not only their sleep but also their long-term wellness. She works closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that promote restorative rest.

I confirmed my appointment twice with one person (she said she would call me back to confirm but never did so I had to call her back). The next day, I got a phone call saying that the 9am spot was taken and they needed to reschedule me. The day of my appointment, they called me and said they needed to move it from 8:30 to 12:30 instead.”
Milton Chávez, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at his practice, Dr. Milton Chávez MD, SC in Wicker Park, Chicago. Dr. Chávez takes a proactive approach to medical care and views his role as a patient advocate, exploring all avenues to help them prevent, improve, or maintain health and wellness.
After completing his Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages at Wofford College in Spartanburg, North Carolina, Dr. Chávez went on to earn his medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He then completed his surgical residency and a pediatric surgical fellowship at the University of California at Los Angeles, before moving to the midwest for his family medicine residency training at Rush University in Chicago. He also completed a mini epilepsy fellowship at Bowman Grey School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Dedicated to his profession, Dr. Chávez is board certified in family medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He’s also an active member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and the American College of Physician Executives.
In addition to providing compassionate care to all of his patients, Dr. Chávez’s special interests include in-office surgery and procedures, including the diagnosis and management of skin and musculoskeletal disorders.
