Dr. Patterson is a certified practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and completed a fellowship in functional and integrative medicine for psychiatry and ADHD. She is an active member of professional organizations including ILADS, AANP, IFM, and MAPS, and has served as faculty for Rupa Health, IFM, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), and Medical Director of Education for Psychiatry Redefined. She also serves on the Scientific and Medical Advisory Board for Xymogen and Microbiome Laboratories.

She earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine, her Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, and an MBA from Quinnipiac University.

Outside of seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, traveling, indulging in trips to the spa, staying active through kickboxing and high-intensity workouts, and photography.
