Carly Ramos RN, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Safe Harbor Psychiatry in Newburyport, Massachusetts. She is clinically educated in treating patients with mental health diagnoses across the lifespan.
Carly earned her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society, received the Emerson International Internship Scholarship, and was named Faculty Scholar. As a member of the Hartwick College Nursing Program, Carly was elected as the president of the Hartwick College Association of Student Nurses and was a leader of the Unified Nurses Instructional Team. Post graduation, Carly elected to continue her nursing education at Northeastern University, earning a Master’s Degree in Advanced Psychiatric Nursing.
Acknowledged for her extensive nursing experience in the field of psychiatry, Carly started her nursing career working on an inpatient adult psychiatry unit at Spring Harbor Hospital in Westbrook, Maine. She later moved to Boston and accepted a position as the Director of Nursing at the Ivy Street School in Brookline, a residential school focused on providing trauma-informed psychiatric care to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, behavioral health diagnoses, brain injury, and other major mental illnesses.
Upon graduation from Northeastern University, Carly began her advanced psychiatric nursing practice at South Shore Psychiatric Services in Hingham, Massachusetts, where she provided psychotherapy and psychopharmacology services to individuals across the lifespan with a focus on treating children and adolescents. Carly received additional research training from South Shore CEO and former director of clinical trials at MGH, MaryAnn McDonnell, PhD, NP, and has participated as a co-investigator on ADHD clinical research trials.
Carly is recognized for her subspecialty in autism. In 2018, Carly was awarded a position at Boston Medical Center as an Autism Fellow, where she received specialized training, education, and clinical experience working specifically with transition-aged youth with autism, intellectual disability, and co-morbid mental health diagnoses. Presently, Carly works part-time at Massachusetts General Hospital at the Bressler Clinic and Research Program, providing diagnostic evaluation and ongoing medication management to individuals aged 6-40 with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and other co-morbid psychopathologies.
In addition to providing direct patient care, Carly is dedicated to furthering the education and training of others in the field of psychiatric nursing by acting as a clinical preceptor to students enrolled in advanced psychiatric nursing graduate programs. Carly also provides supervision to newly licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners who are working towards independent practice after two years of collaborative practice. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Rivier University to expand her clinical and leadership skills to better provide support and advocacy for her patients.
Carly is passionate about providing holistic and comprehensive mental health care for patients and families. Carly believes strongly in providing her patients with education regarding diagnosis/medication/accessing the mental health care system and encourages clients to practice autonomy as it pertains to psychiatric treatment.

Dr. Yuliya Mandel is a Board Certified Family Physician who joined SNHIMA in 2024 after relocating to The Granite State. She brings over 15 years of experience in the primary care field , with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
Dr. Mandel earned her medical degree from the Crimean Medical Institute and completed her postgraduate residency training at St. John’s Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, MI. Upon completion of her residency, she founded and managed a successful primary care practice in North Andover, MA, where she cared for hundreds of patients over the span of more than a decade.
She has chosen to continue her career at SNHIMA, as our philosophy of providing personalized, compassionate care aligns with her own.
