Hong earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Beijing University in Beijing, China. After moving to the U.S., Hong received a forensic nursing certification from the University of California Riverside-Extension Center in Riverside, California, served as a registered nurse supervisor at Plymouth Tower Care and Living Center in Riverside, California, and continued her work as a registered nurse case manager at Lorian Health in Murrieta, California.
After earning a Master of Science in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California, Hong certified as a family nurse practitioner and held the position of nurse practitioner provider at Peak Health Solutions in Franklin, Tennessee, before joining the team at Apple Urgent Care.
Hong is experienced in surgical intensive care; emergency medicine; obstetrics and gynecology; ear, nose, and throat; ophthalmology; and home health care. Dedicated to advancing in her profession, Yessenia continued her education at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California, earning her Master of Science to become a family nurse practitioner. During her master’s program, Yessenia won the Outstanding Masters Nursing Student award.
