Erica is a long-time resident of the Eastern Shore, growing up in Salisbury, Maryland, and graduating from James M. Bennett High. She attended Salisbury University, where she worked towards her undergraduate degree in biology before enrolling in the school’s physician assistant program. She continued her PA studies at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, Maryland. Throughout her time at UMES, Erica was a member of the Golden Key Honor Society and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and was featured in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. She worked as a research biologist for three years with the US Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Harford County, Maryland. She then returned to school and completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
