He completed his internship and residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham hospitals and pulmonary critical care fellowship at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, completing in 1989. Dr. Estes has a special interest in advanced pulmonary diagnostics utilizing bronchoscopic computer navigation and endobronchial ultrasound techniques for diagnosing lung lesions. He received his board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1987, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in 1989 and remains board certified in both fields. Dr. Desai joined StatCare in 2021 to practice in the field of hospitalist internal medicine. She graduated from RCSM Government Medical School in 2013 and completed Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami JFK Medical Center in 2018. Dr. Desai enjoys skydiving, bungee jumping, dancing, traveling, and movies. She is fluent in Englush, Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi.
Dr. Orthoefer practices as an internal medicine hospitalist with Stat Care. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine at Memphis in 1997. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville in 2000. He received board certification in general internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2000, and he received certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine with a focused practice in hospital medicine in 2010. He continues to maintain certification in hospital medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
