He then joined the faculty of New York University in 2011. He has been involved in many clinical research projects, including long-term studies to evaluate the efficacy and safety of GLP-I agonists and weight loss agents. Dr. Manessis’ primary clinical interest includes the treatment of diabetic patients with insulin pumps and how it has benefited the well-being of patients long-term.

Emmanuel Valery, MD, is a board-certified internist at LaSante Health Center in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens area of Brooklyn.
