In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Manessis was a faculty member in the Department of Medicine at New York Medical College from 2008-2010. He then joined the faculty of New York University in 2011. He has been involved in many clinical research projects, including long-term studies to evaluate the efficacy and safety of GLP-I agonists and weight loss agents. Dr. Manessis’ primary clinical interest includes the treatment of diabetic patients with insulin pumps and how it has benefited the well-being of patients long-term.

Dexter McKenzie, MD, is an experienced internist and pediatrician serving patients of all ages at LaSante Health Center in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens area of Brooklyn. Emmanuel Valery, MD, is a board-certified internist at LaSante Health Center in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens area of Brooklyn. Serving the community for years, Dr. Valery was the medical director at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, the CEO of Bedford Medical Group, and practiced at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Kings County Hospital and the Bronx Lebanon Special Care Center, all in New York City.
Dr. Valery leads several community service and outreach initiatives and is a member of the NOAH NY, a not-for-profit organization that helps provide free health care to residents of Haiti. He has received numerous awards for his efforts.
