Today, he spends some time as a clinical assistant professor at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
From 2006 to 2016, Dr. Obianwu worked as the chief of Obstetrics at Virtua-Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, New Jersey. While there, he sat on several committees, took on a variety of leadership roles, and piloted the hospital’s da Vinci® robotic surgery program. He continues to serve on the Virtua Hospital Robotic Steering Committee.
