After completing her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, graduating magna cum laude, Dr. Motesharrei was accepted into medical school. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. Throughout her schooling, Dr. Motesharrei was the recipient of several awards and honors, including the Phi Beta Kappa and the American Medical Women’s Association Leadership Award.
Dr. Motesharrei finished her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. During her residency, Dr. Motesharrei gained extensive training in diagnosing and treating infertility.
To help her stay current with the latest in medical research and advancements, Dr. Motesharrei maintains her board certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She’s also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and was voted “Top Doctor” in the Washingtonian magazine.

Jacob Aja, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant who joined the practice in 2021. He completed his undergraduate training at Boise State University. He then went on to earn his Masters in Physicians Assistant studies in 2007. He began his career in orthopedics but developed a love for Dermatology which guided him to join Charles County Dermatology. He is an active member of AAPA and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. He is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss and other dermatologic problems. He is also trained to perform cosmetic procedures.
Meghan Lainoff, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Charles County Dermatology Associates in 2024. She is licensed to practice in both Maryland and Virginia. Meghan's journey into Dermatology began over a decade ago when she worked as a Medical Assistant while earning her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from George Mason University.
In 2018, Meghan completed her master's in physician assistant studies at Radford University Carilion in Roanoke, Virginia and has since gained valuable clinical and procedural experience working in interventional Pulmonology and Neurosurgery. Her diverse background as a Physician Assistant allows her to provide well rounded, high-quality care to every patient.
Originally from a military family. Meghan has called the DMV are home since 2001. When she is not serving patients, Meghan enjoys spending time with her family, cuddling with her pets, and baking.

Board-certified OB/GYN Roy Khoury, MD, FACOG has extensive training in overall women’s health and modern gynecological surgery. He’s currently accepting new patients at Capital Women’s Care.
Dr. Khoury completed both his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Saint Joseph University in Philadelphia. He went through his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC.
To further his expertise, Dr. Khoury then completed advanced training in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques through the Johnson & Johnson Institute/Ethicon Endosurgery (EES) fellowship program. He’s also a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Khoury continues to be involved in medical teaching and education. Throughout his career, Dr. Khoury has received numerous awards and was even recognized as the Best Teaching Educator at Holy Cross Hospital. He currently serves as an assistant clinical professor at The George Washington University and president of the medical executive committee at the Maryland Surgery Center for Women.
Being fluent in English, French, Arabic, and medical Spanish allows Dr. Khoury to communicate with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. When he’s away from the clinic, Dr. Khoury enjoys skiing, tennis, and spending time with his wife and two children.
