Marc A. Wilson, M.D., FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN specializing in high-risk pregnancies, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, disease prevention, and robotic surgery.
Dr. Wilson has worked in private practice for more than 20 years and currently serves women in the Denton, TX area at OB/GYN Specialists.
A Little Rock, Arkansas native, Dr. Wilson knew he wanted to be an OB/GYN physician at an early age when he had the chance to shadow an OB/GYN physician and witness the miracle of birth during a career day field trip.
Once he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, Dr. Wilson received the prestigious Ungerman Four-Year Full Scholarship at the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine, where he thrived academically. Dr. Wilson even went on to become the first African American medical student to be accepted into the OB/GYN Residency Program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
After more than two decades in the medical field, Dr. Wilson has come to find that the doctor/patient relationship works best when each patient is treated like a beloved family member.
That dedication to compassionate and individualized care has earned him several community achievements, including being voted Best Ob/Gyn Physician in Denton County.
As an active member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the National Medical Association, The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Denton County Medical Society, Dr. Wilson has made it his mission to help others succeed in the medical field.
When he is not helping women throughout their pregnancies, delivering babies, performing robotic surgeries, treating diseases like endometriosis, and more, Dr. Wilson loves spending time with his family, golfing, and reading.

Cooper Trost, MD, is a compassionate, board-trained OB-GYN at Holy Cross OBGYN in Mesquite, Texas. His path to obstetrics began when he became a father—an experience he considers both his greatest accomplishment and most challenging role. That journey sparked a deep passion for pregnancy, childbirth, and women’s health, ultimately leading him to a career where he could support patients through their most meaningful and sensitive moments.
Raised just outside Portland, Oregon, Dr. Trost earned his bachelor’s degree in human biology from BYU–Idaho and completed his medical degree at Kansas City University in Kansas City, Missouri. He went on to complete his OB-GYN residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where he served as Chief Resident at the Five Rivers Center for Women’s Health. During training, he received the prestigious AAGL Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery Award, recognizing his skill in advanced, patient-centered surgical care.
Dr. Trost’s clinical interests include preconception counseling, contraception, high-risk pregnancy management, patient-centered labor and delivery, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including Da Vinci robotic-assisted procedures. He is committed to helping women make informed decisions and supporting them with empathetic, evidence-based care.
Now settled in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with his wife and two young sons, Dr. Trost is thrilled to join Holy Cross OB-GYN. He looks forward to serving patients in Mesquite, Terrell, and Rowlett and building long-term partnerships that empower women to live healthy, confident lives.
For over 16 years, Dr. Maduka Odogwu has been in practice as an obstetrician and gynecologist, helping women through every stage of their lives. At Holy Cross OBGYN in Mesquite, Texas, he provides expert obstetric care, including for women with high-risk pregnancies. From preconception counseling and prenatal health, right on through to delivery, Dr. Odogwu handles each pregnancy every step of the way to ensure the best outcome possible.
