He completed a general surgery residency at the same school and an OB/GYN internship at Panait Sarbu Hospital in Bucharest before coming to the U.S. to do a residency in OB/GYN at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York.

Dr. Torres finished his training with the highest honors after completing an OB/GYN residency at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia.

Dr. Torres was born in Cali, Colombia. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology at Kean University in New Jersey and graduated with honors from medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida. 

Dr. Torres went on to complete a general surgery internship at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, and an OB/GYN residency at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia.

She maintains her medical credentials with continuing education to stay up to date with the latest advances in OB/GYN diagnostics and treatments. She personalizes treatment plans to help her patients and their new additions achieve the best possible outcomes.

Douglas Smith, DO, of Gemini OBGYN in Pembroke Pines, FL, grew up in Philadelphia and practiced there for 6 years. He and Dr. Goldberg shared residencies at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, after they both attended Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 2003, Dr. Smith moved to Weston and partnered with Dr. Goldberg in their medical practice. The 2 share a commitment to a “patients first” philosophy of health care.

Dr. Smith is currently the Chief of Staff at Memorial Hospital West. Previously he served as Department of OB/GYN Chief and Secretary/Treasurer of the hospital.

Dr. Smith enjoys the South Florida active outdoor lifestyle with his wife, Lori, and their two sons. He’s an avid golfer and swimmer.

Dr. Lindheim is the Medical Director at Elite IVF Solutions.  He also serves as Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Central Florida, in Orlando, Florida, and is Visiting Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine at Reproductive Medical Center Renji Hospital in Shanghai, China.  He graduated from Temple School of Medicine, was a resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, completing a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, CA and his Masters in Medical Management from Tulane University, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Dr Lindheim is currently board-certified in both Ob/Gyn and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.  He previously served on the Board of Directors for ASRM as Past-President for the Society of Reproductive Surgeons.  Dr. Lindheim has a major interest in In Vitro Fertilization, oocyte donation, embryo donation, and surrogacy.  He is a well-recognized expert in the field of minimally invasive reproductive surgery and has over 300 scientific publications and book chapters and is an Associate Editor for Fertility and Sterility, Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology - Canada, and Gynecologic Obstetric Investigation.  His research focuses on embryo implantation, minimally invasive reproductive surgery, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).  Given his understanding that this process can be overwhelming, frustrating, and challenging, he is well known for his empathic and personal approach to patient care, for which his peers have acknowledged him with awards, including “Top Doctors”.

Dr. González earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of Miami and obtained her Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She then completed her OB/GYN residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where she received the Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals Best Teaching Resident award.

Known for her exceptional communication skills, Dr. González takes the time to listen to her patients, thoroughly explain treatment options, and create a comfortable, non-judgmental environment. She is fluent in English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility to a diverse patient population.

Dr. Rafael Perez received his undergraduate degree at Harvard University and earned his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Johns Hopkins affiliated Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland. Dr. Perez is double-board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and urogynecology, having trained under two of the most influential doctors in their respective fields: Dr. James Dorsey for laparoscopic surgery and Dr. Alf Bent for urogynecology. At Center for Urogynecology and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Dr. Perez is committed to providing the highest level of individualized care to his patients in a warm and trusting environment. 

Dr. Silfen completed his undergraduate education at Baylor University and received his Medical Degree from the University of South Alabama. He completed his residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital/Case Western Reserve University where he received specialized training in his areas of expertise. Dr. Silfen is board certified from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is currently on staff at West Boca Medical Center and the Boca Raton Outpatient Surgery and Laser Center. He is currently an Affilate Assistant Physician at Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, at Florida Atlantic University and has practiced in Boca Raton for the past 28 years.
