Douglas Smith, DO, of Gemini OBGYN in Pembroke Pines, FL, grew up in Philadelphia and practiced there for 6 years. He and Dr. Goldberg shared residencies at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, after they both attended Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 2003, Dr. Smith moved to Weston and partnered with Dr. Goldberg in their medical practice. The 2 share a commitment to a “patients first” philosophy of health care.
Dr. Smith is currently the Chief of Staff at Memorial Hospital West. Previously he served as Department of OB/GYN Chief and Secretary/Treasurer of the hospital.
Dr. Smith enjoys the South Florida active outdoor lifestyle with his wife, Lori, and their two sons. He’s an avid golfer and swimmer.
Dr. Lindheim is the Program Director at Elite IVF Solutions. He also serves as Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Central Florida, in Orlando, Florida, and is Visiting Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine at Reproductive Medical Center Renji Hospital in Shanghai, China.He graduated from Temple School of Medicine, was a resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, completing a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, CA and his Masters in Medical Management from Tulane University, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orlean, Louisiana. Dr Lindheim is currently board-certified in both Ob/Gyn and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He previously served on the Board of Directors for ASRM as Past-President for the Society of Reproductive Surgeons. Dr. Lindheim has a major interest in In Vitro Fertilization, oocyte donation, embryo donation, and surrogacy. He is a well-recognized expert in the field of minimally invasive reproductive surgery and has over 300 scientific publications and book chapters and is an Associate Editor for Fertility Sterility and Gynecologic Obstetric Investigation. His research focuses on embryo implantation, minimally invasive reproductive surgery, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Given his understanding that this process can be overwhelming, frustrating, and challenging, he is well known for his empathic and personal approach to patient care, for which his peers have acknowledged him with awards, including “Top Doctors”.

Kir-Wei Chen, MD and the medical team provide a comfortable environment for routine gynecology visits, prenatal care, and treatment of STDs, incontinence, infertility, and menopause symptoms.
Dr. Chen and his father, Yat-Min Chen, MD, offer unparalleled expertise in gynecologic care, including minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries with the da Vinci® Surgical System, infertility treatment, and high-risk pregnancy care. Both doctors are bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese. Dr. Yat-Min Chen is also fluent in Cantonese, Chiu Chow, Fujien, Fukien, Hakka, Portuguese, Spanish, and Taiwanese. Dr. Robert C. Siudmak is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with over 40 years of experience in comprehensive OB/GYN care. Throughout his career, he has successfully performed thousands of gynecological and obstetric procedures.
Since 1985, Dr. Siudmak has served the South Florida community through his private practice, Total Women’s Healthcare, with locations in Hollywood and Pembroke Pines. His approach to women’s health is rooted in conservative intervention and organ preservation, delivered in a compassionate and patient-centered environment that generations of families have come to trust.
Dr. Siudmak earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fordham University in New York and received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1977. He completed his OB/GYN residency at New York Medical College before opening his first private practice in Manhattan. He later relocated to Florida, where he has continued to practice with dedication and care.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Siudmak has delivered more than 18,000 babies. Remarkably, he has delivered over 1,000 babies from parents he originally delivered—a rare and meaningful testament to his quality of care. Known for supporting natural childbirth, his primary C-section rate remains under 18%, and he has successfully performed more than 1,200 VBACs (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean).
Dr. Naomi Ufberg received her BA from New York University in 2004 and a Masters in Public Health from UC Berkeley in 2006. She went on to continue her studies at Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University where she received her MD in 2010.
Dr. Ufberg completed her residency in OB/GYN at the Hofstra North Shore/LIJSchool of Medicine. Here she received the award for excellence in teaching and education. She has remained passionate about educating women from the teen years through childbearing years and on through perimenopause and menopause; helping them to understand and take charge of their reproductive health. She has had the fortune of working in the field of maternal health with various populations abroad including Haiti, Guatemala, Thailand and Israel.
Dr Ufberg is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After completing her residency training she worked in private practice in New York City for several years before moving to Florida in 2017. Since then she has been serving the South Florida community.
Dr. Ufberg is committed to creating a comfortable and open environment for her patients to receive comprehensive care.
Aissel Faquir is a highly skilled personable Doctor of Nursing who has over 13 years of experience in women’s health. She received her nursing degree from the University of North Carolina and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Barry University. Aissel is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. Her excellent listening capability, pursuit of academic excellence, and passion to optimize women’s quality of live have amplified her clinical judgement. She provides respectful outstanding care to a full spectrum of gynecological and obstetrical patient’s with a blend of experience, compassion, and patient-center care. She is proficient in preventative care, family planning, birth control (IMPLANTON, IUDs, and tailoring the best approach to maximize its safety and efficacy), pap-smears, Well Women exams, colposcopy, and biopsies. Aissel is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Dr. Silfen completed his undergraduate education at Baylor University and received his Medical Degree from the University of South Alabama. He completed his residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital/Case Western Reserve University where he received specialized training in his areas of expertise. Dr. Silfen is board certified from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is currently on staff at West Boca Medical Center and the Boca Raton Outpatient Surgery and Laser Center. He is currently an Affilate Assistant Physician at Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, at Florida Atlantic University and has practiced in Boca Raton for the past 28 years.
