After graduating as one of the youngest doctors in the country, she stayed at SUNY Downstate Medical Center for her ophthalmology residency training. She then went on to complete two subspecialty fellowships at UCLA: cornea & external disease fellowship at the esteemed Doheny Eye Institute-UCLA and glaucoma fellowship at the world-famous Stein Eye Institute-UCLA. She has co-authored 4 book chapters, has numerous publications in peer-reviewed academic journals, and has presented at over 20 medical society meetings and conferences.
