He specializes in soft and hard contact lenses fitting, including keratoconic fits. Doctor Lisitsyn also proficient in pediatric eye care, vision therapy evaluations and treatments of amblyopia as well as other vision dysfunctions. Dr. Sabina Oboukova received her undergraduate degree from Nova Southeastern University and doctorate degree from MCPHS College of Optometry. Additionally, she completed her residency in advanced care ocular disease at SUNY College of Optometry. She is also a diplomat of the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Oboukova provides comprehensive and contact lens eye examinations to pediatric and adult populations, managing amblyopia, myopia, dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy.
With extensive advanced training in visual screening, eye surgery, and diagnosing chronic conditions, Nina Saa, OD, offers both routine checkups and urgent-care eye treatment. Dr. Saa welcomes patients to VistaSite Eye Care in New York City.
As a Bronx native, Dr. Saa stayed in her hometown for much of her education and training. She completed her undergraduate studies in science from Pace University in New York City. Dr. Saa then conducted research projects in optometry with State University of New York College of Optometry. After focusing on vision screening research, Dr. Saa ultimately graduated with her doctor of optometry degree from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico.
Throughout her internship training, Dr. Saa was able to care for patients of all ages, from children to geriatric adults. She went through comprehensive hands-on training with vision therapy exercises, syntonics (light frequencies), and atypical tailored treatment for the most complex of eye conditions and surgeries.
Whenever possible, Dr. Saa strives to serve her community and provide care for the underserved. She’s spent time working with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity on their Caribbean mission trips to give free eye exams and eye care for patients in need.
Dr. Saa’s fluency in both English and Spanish allows patients of multiple cultural backgrounds to effectively communicate with her. Her patients commend her caring and compassionate bedside manner.
Nadezhda Nisimova, OD, is an optometrist at VistaSite Eye Care in Elmhurst, Queens, in New York City. Dr. Nisimova specializes in all aspects of optometry, including ocular disease, diabetic eye exams, specialty contact lenses, co-managed cataracts, and LASIK procedures.
Dr. Nisimovathoroughly evaluates each patient’s vision to diagnose, treat, and manage disorders of eye structures and functions. She is board certified and maintains her credentials with continuing education to stay up to date with the latest advances in vision and eye care. She uses the most innovative technology and techniques in a warm, friendly environment.
Dr. Nisimova graduated from the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York City in 2012. She went on to work at Rosenblum Eye Centers for five years alongside ophthalmologist Dr. Harvey Rosenblum.
Dr. Nisimova enjoys helping patients achieve perfect vision to optimize their quality of life. She currently accepts new patients and compassionately welcomes them to VistaSite Eye Care.
Yuliya Bababekova, OD, is a board-certified optometrist specializing in complex eye issues and pediatric optometry. She works out of Vistasite Eye Care of Valley Stream in Valley Stream, New York.
Dr. Bababekova earned her Doctor of Optometry (OD) from the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York, New York. Since graduating, she's gained extensive training in pediatric eye consultations and visual testing for diagnosing learning disabilities.
At Vistasite Eye Care, Dr. Bababekova offers general eye exams and treats allergic eye conditions, diabetic retinopathy, and optic neuritis, to name a few. She is also known for helping patients with chronic eye conditions or learning disabilities and caring for children, adults, and seniors.
Dr. Bababekova is fluent in English, Spanish, and Russian, allowing her to treat patients from various backgrounds.
Dr. Bababekova enjoys serving her community in her free time by volunteering with the VisionWalk Fundraiser, Special Olympics, and the New York City Walk for the Homeless.
