Sam Jones completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at New Mexico State University in 2007 and then his Master of Science in Nursing from The University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, in 2017 with a focus on family medicine. He has worked in emergency departments for 10 years as an RN, along with additional work in the intensive care unit and surgical units, and completed his nurse practitioner program residency in the emergency department. Since completing his nurse practitioner program in 2017, he has treated patients in the orthopedic and now sleep medicine settings.
He is currently a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, with a national certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
