Dr. Sciaroni is a San Francisco Bay Area native and began practicing in the San Francisco area after completing a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Institute in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz and her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Sciaroni focuses her practice in sports medicine and general orthopaedic surgery, with particular interest in surgery and rehabilitation of the shoulder and knee. She is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. She has served as a team physician for Skyline College and has worked with the St. Francis Center for Sports Medicine. Tam or the Marin Headlands, hiking or riding her road bike or mountain bike.
Dr. George Thabit is a distinguished joint preservation musculoskeletal surgeon, renowned for his expertise in minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures for the shoulder, knee, and ankle. Ray Oshtory, MD, MBA, founded the Pacific Heights Spine Center in 2011 and has been providing the best possible orthopaedic and spinal care to his patients in San Francisco ever since. He understands how painful and debilitating spinal conditions can be and believes everyone who comes to his office deserves a comfortable and pleasant experience throughout their treatment.
He began his academic career at MIT, where he received a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. He earned his MD and MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles before specializing in orthopaedic surgery at Stanford University. He completed his fellowship in spine surgery at Stanford University Medical Center (SUMC) and St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco. He also served as a clinical instructor at SUMC.
Dr. Oshtory’s special interests are minimally-invasive surgery, cervical spine surgery, spinal deformity surgery, and biomedical device technology. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national meetings. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and the Society of Lateral Access Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS).

Dr. Maury Harwood is a talented surgeon serving the diverse communities of South San Jose and Morgan Hill, California at his practice, Harwood Orthopedics. He specializes in all facets of sports medicine, but is especially renowned for his life-changing, minimally-invasive replacement surgeries of the shoulder, hip, and knee, as well as, a full scope of sports-related surgeries.
Dr. Harwood earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where he also completed his residency. During his residency, Dr. Harwood served as Chief at New England Boston Hospital, where he honed his skill for joint replacement surgery, among the hospital’s areas of renowned expertise. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship at the University of Colorado, Boulder in sports medicine. During this fellowship, Dr. Harwood received specialized training in arthroscopy, minimally-invasive hip and knee replacement surgery, and sports medicine.
In addition to seeing patients at his private practice, formerly South Valley Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, inc. Dr. Harwood performs surgery out of Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, Forest Surgery Center, and Knowles Surgery Center in Los Gatos.
Dr. Harwood is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the California Orthopedic Association, and the Western Orthopedic Association.
Dr. Harwood is a native of Los Angeles and is married to Rachelle Harwood, a San Jose native. They have called the South Valley home for more than two decades and enjoy spending time with their two children, Colton and Macyn.
