Louis Peter Re Jr., MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with expertise in sports medicine and orthopedic trauma at his office in the Midtown West area of Manhattan, New York City. He is a fellowship-trained shoulder surgeon specializing in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, repairs and revisions of complex rotator cuff tears, and shoulder replacement surgery.
Dr. Re completed his residency in the Department of Orthopaedics at Yale University School of Medicine and completed the Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute. He has published several research projects involving shoulder and knee reconstructions. He has been a Clinical Instructor when he was at Yale, an Assistant Clinical Professor, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and is currently Clinical Instructor, Shoulder Reconstruction and Arthroscopy Lenox Hill Hospital.

He has been voted teacher of the year twice and is currently continuing to investigate the outcome of Graft Reconstruction for Massive Rotator Cuff Tears. Fredric Kleinbart, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon working closely with patients at Mercer-Bucks Orthopaedics, with offices in Hamilton, Lawrenceville, and Princeton, New Jersey, and Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
He was the former director of sports medicine and was an active member at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine.
He has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine, and for the last five years, he has been an associate master instructor of arthroscopy at the Orthopaedic Learning Center, which allows him to teach arthroscopies nationally.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Dr. Kleinbart completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Kingsbrook Jewish- Beth Israel Medical Centers and his sports medicine fellowship at Temple University Hospital.
Dr. Kleinbart’s USA Olympic experience includes serving as the orthopaedic surgeon at the San Diego Olympic training center, as a ringside physician for USA Boxing, and a ringside physician for the Olympic boxing trials.
He was the head orthopaedic surgeon and co-team physician for Drexel University. He was also the orthopaedic consultant for the American Repertory Ballet and the Princeton Ballet School and has a long history as a team physician for various collegiate and high school teams.
Dr. Kleinbart has been instrumental in creating specialty sports clinics, including the Arts Medicine Center, the Women’s Sports Medicine Center, and the Pediatric Sports Medicine clinics at Hahnemann University Hospital and the Drexel University College of Medicine.

Dr. Colarusso maintains double-board certification, having recently recertified with both the American Medical Association, the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and the American Osteopathic Association. A native of Louisiana, Dr. Dickerson graduated summa cum laude from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University’s School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. After completing his internship in Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Dickerson completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.
Dr. Dickerson’s training didn’t stop there. He continued honing his craft, narrowing in on sports medicine while studying at the Orthopaedic Foundation for Active Lifestyles in Connecticut and New York.

As a native of Monmouth County, Jeremy Ruskin, MD, is excited to provide care of the *elbow, wrist, and hand to his patients at Central Jersey Hand Surgery. Dr. Ruskin treats patients in the practice’s offices in Eatontown, Freehold, and Toms River.
Dr. Ruskin earned his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. From there, he attended Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School and earned his Doctorate of Medicine. He remained at Rutgers where he completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. Finally, Dr. Ruskin completed a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery.
As a part of his practice, Dr. Ruskin takes care of injuries throughout the entire upper extremity, from the shoulder down to the fingers. He has a special interest in shoulder replacements, shoulder arthroscopy, traumatic injuries of the elbow, fracture care, the treatment of peripheral nerve injuries, surgical and non-surgical treatment of arthritis, and sports injuries.
