Dr. Lea immediately followed up with the same institution's internship and residency program.

Paul Gregory, MD, is an exceptional, board-certified trauma surgeon servicing the greater Carmichael, California, region. At Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons of Northern California, Dr. Gregory brings more than 30 years of experience.
Dr. Gregory received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and continued at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine in Omaha, where he received his medical degreeHe then completed his internship and residency at the University of Oklahoma’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation l in Oklahoma City. Rounding out his educational experience, Dr. Gregory moved to Tampa, Florida, where he completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal trauma.
Since 1999, Dr. Gregory has served as the director of orthopedic trauma at Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, California. He is an active member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma. In 2010, Dr. Gregory founded the Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeons of Northern California fellowship program. The program is one of approximately 45 such programs accredited in the United States to train orthopaedic resident graduates in musculoskeletal trauma.
Ray Oshtory, MD, MBA, founded the Pacific Heights Spine Center in 2011 and has been providing the best possible orthopaedic and spinal care to his patients in San Francisco ever since. He understands how painful and debilitating spinal conditions can be and believes everyone who comes to his office deserves a comfortable and pleasant experience throughout their treatment.
He began his academic career at MIT, where he received a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. He earned his MD and MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles before specializing in orthopaedic surgery at Stanford University. He completed his fellowship in spine surgery at Stanford University Medical Center (SUMC) and St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco. He also served as a clinical instructor at SUMC.
Dr. Oshtory’s special interests are minimally-invasive surgery, cervical spine surgery, spinal deformity surgery, and biomedical device technology. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national meetings. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and the Society of Lateral Access Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS).
