He brings twenty years of experience and knowledge to Beverly Hills Migraine and Pain Management Institute, serving patients in Beverly Hills and Encino, California.
Dr. Taimoorazy is one of only seven interventional pain management anesthesiologists in the nation and the only physician in California who is also sub-specialized in the field of headache medicine by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties.
He is a fellow of the American Headache Society, an elite member of The Leading Physicians of the World, and was recognized as one of the few top interventional pain management anesthesiologists in the nation. A faculty member at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Dr. Taimoorazy is also a clinical instructor of surgery at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and a member of the nerve block registry of the AHS.
Dr. Taimoorazy is board certified and a diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine, American Academy of Pain Management, and American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the Central Illinois Neuroscience Foundation of Bloomington and serves on the research committee.
For the past twenty years, he has been involved in the care of a wide variety of chronic and acute painful conditions while serving as the chairman of Anesthesiology Consultants, LTD. Edward Carden, MD, offers innovative interventional pain management services at his practice in Sherman Oaks, California. Dr. Carden provides patient-focused care, tailoring his approach to address not only the physical needs of patients in the Los Angeles area but also their mental and emotional state.
Dr. Carden offers personalized pain management programs for patients living with arthritis, neuropathy, sciatica, and other types of back and neck pain. He also diagnoses and treats complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), which is sometimes referred to as reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD). With decades of experience, Dr. Carden addresses the underlying cause of pain with a range of treatments, including spinal cord stimulators, radiofrequency ablation, and all forms of injections.
Following his prestigious education at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom, Dr. Carden served internships at Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone, England, and Plaistow Hospital in London. He completed his residency at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Carden also completed rigorous fellowship training as a hyperbaric research fellow at the University of British Columbia.
Over the years, Dr. Carden has shared his knowledge and experience in several academic appointments. Most recently, he retired from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles after 17 years as a clinical professor.
Dr. Carden has also invented several anesthesia devices, published dozens of peer-reviewed articles in renowned medical journals, and lectured at medical conferences around the world.
