With an extensive background in cutting-edge pain medicine treatments, Gregory Crisp, MD is known for helping patients find relief from the most complex of pain issues. Dr. Crisp cares for patients at New Hope Pain Management in Elkin, North Carolina.
Dr. Crisp completed the pre-med program at Duke University in Durham, majoring in biology and chemistry. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Medical School
After finishing his residency in anesthesia at Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Crist was accepted into a fellowship program. He completed a fellowship in pain management at Wake Forest University Medical Center in Winston-Salem, where he was subsequently given the title of assistant professor of anesthesia and pain.
To further his expertise, Dr. Crisp went through additional training to become board certified through the American Board of Pain Medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Crisp worked with the Carolina Pain Consultants in Statesville, as well as the Alamance Regional Medical Center (ARMC) in Burlington. He even served as the director of pain management at ARMC for over 20 years.
Throughout his years in practice, Dr. Crisp maintained his own private pain management clinic in Greensboro. He currently serves as the director of pain at clinics in Greensboro, Gastonia, and Elkin. Dr. Crisp is accepting new patients and welcomes them to the practice.
