The Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research (FSCDR) is a renowned organization solely focused on medical care and clinical research opportunities for those living with Sickle Cell Disease. FSCDR has locations across the State of Florida. Its Flagship is in Hollywood, Florida.
As the only organization in the United States with standalone sickle cell Centers of Excellence, The Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research welcomes patients from all over the world. The team of physicians, specialists, care coordinators, case managers, and social work professionals combine to provide all-inclusive care for children and adults with sickle cell disease.
Their stated mission is to tirelessly research, inform, hear, respect, treat, and support all individuals with sickle cell disease, and to make the disease a livable, non-threatening condition. In addition, they do innovative diagnostic testing, such as transcranial Doppler ultrasounds, X-rays, and medical treatments, including infusion services.
The team at The Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research works with other medical and education professionals to ensure that their patients of all ages receive the care and support they need to thrive, ranging from vaccinations to medication management and social work services.

Aisha Bailey, DO, is a board-certified pediatrician providing unmatched care and services for kids and adolescents at ASK Pediatric Services in Tallahassee, Florida.
Dr. Bailey believes that parents, pediatricians, and the children themselves should work as a team to address and resolve childhood mental and physical health ailments. She follows updated protocols and creates one-of-a-kind care plans for every child and makes sure the plans work for the entire family.
A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Bailey lived in Texas for some time before she and her family settled down in Connecticut.
After graduating from the prestigious Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire, Dr. Bailey completed her undergraduate education at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
She went on to graduate with honors from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine, now the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, in Stratford, New Jersey.
Following her education, Dr. Bailey served a general pediatrics residency at K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital in Neptune, New Jersey. She also completed a faculty fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Since then, she has held professorships at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Alabama, and at the Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, Florida.
Among her professional affiliations, she is a fellow of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics.
Today, Dr. Bailey is delighted to offer a range of holistic and integrative pediatric services at ASK Pediatric Services.
