Michael Hur, MD is a fellowship-trained pain specialist passionate about utilizing a multimodal approach to patient care through the combination of interventional procedures, pharmacologic treatments, physical therapy, and pain psychology. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, he returned to his home city of Chicago to complete his medical school training at the University of Illinois in 2017. He then went on to complete his Anesthesiology residency at the University of Michigan Hospital followed by advanced fellowship training in Pain Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is dual board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and currently a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Neuromodulation Society, and Spine Intervention Society.
Dr. Hur is excited to return home and provide quality care to those in the Chicagoland area. As an expert in treating musculoskeletal conditions, spine-related conditions, and complex pain disorders, he has interests in minimally invasive procedures, neuromodulation, and alternative therapies to help those that are struggling with pain. He’s dedicated to finding a tailored and unique treatment plan for all his patients to not only help alleviate their pain but to also improve their lives. Pranusha Baxi, MD is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain management specialist whose primary goal is to improve the quality of life of her patients suffering from chronic pain. Dr. Baxi grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. She then attended a direct medical program at St. Louis University in Missouri to complete her undergraduate and medical school education. She returned home to Chicago to complete an anesthesiology residency and interventional pain medicine fellowship at the highly interventional program at Rush University Medical Center.
Dr. Baxi places importance on the unique nature of pain and its impact on patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological health as well as their functional status. Dr. Baxi takes time to understand her patients’ complex stories, build a relationship based on trust, and provide a sense of comfort. Her interests include injection therapy, neuromodulation including dorsal root ganglion and spinal cord stimulation, interspinous spacers to treat spinal stenosis, and minimally invasive sacroiliac joint fusion. Through these approaches, Dr. Baxi hopes to help her patients suffering from pain return to their previously enjoyable activities.
Dr. Baxi strongly believes that combining the use of minimally invasive procedures along with a multidisciplinary approach to pain management will provide patients with better functional status and improve their overall well-being. Dr. Baxi enjoys staying active by running and attending workout classes. She spends time with friends and family, whether it be traveling or exploring the Chicago restaurant scene.

Dr. Tubic has been serving the community in the greater Chicagoland area after finishing his training for anesthesiology and interventional pain medicine at the world-renowned fellowship program at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Tubic is a considered as a distinguished specialist in his field and has been the recipient of many awards, including the 2014 Physician Value Award for Excellence at Adventist Bolingbrook and Hinsdale Hospital, the Vitals’ Patient Choice Award, Top 10 Doctors in the Metro Area, and Top 10 Doctors in the State. He is fluent in English, Croatian, and Serbian.
