He was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA for 16 years. He was also a Member, Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA from 1994 to 1996.
Dr. Dillard’s focus is on improving a patient's function which entails reducing pain to minimal to resolved levels, and then strengthening and retraining the muscles, tendons, and ligaments to optimize function. He uses multiple treatment approaches, “Training in physical medicine and rehabilitation has taught me to look at injury and pain through a functional lens. I enjoy using all the tools at my disposal-ultrasound and electromyogram for proper diagnosis, injections (including regenerative medicine techniques such as platelet rich plasma injections and prolotherapy injections for joints, ligaments, and tendons), nerve blocks, osteopathic manipulation, proper nutrition for healing, physical therapy, exercise, proper flexibility, they all play an important role for achieving maximum health, strength, flexibility, that is conducive for a happy, enjoyable and productive life. Eric Y. With the philosophy that a thorough physical exam is crucial for successful treatment, Dr. Germanovich takes a hands-on approach to the diagnosis and treatment of pain conditions.
He uses a multi-modal treatment approach for every patient starting with therapeutic exercises, manual manipulation, heel lifts, aqua therapy and medications. Dr. Babaria grew up in Norwood, New Jersey, a small suburb town of Bergen County. This is where he became an Eagle Scout and was exposed to the volunteer ambulance and fire squads. He completed his undergraduate education at The Pennsylvania State University and received a degree in Psychology and minors in Neuroscience and Economics. He then pursued a two-year post-graduate studies program in Thane, India at Tattvagnan Vidhyapeeth (TVP). TVP literally translates to “study of true knowledge.” It is a school aiming to develop the most versatile future leaders of the world by promoting values-centric education. From rigorous classes in critical, comparative Eastern and Western philosophy, world religions, history, and Vedic literature, TVP enhances students’ curiosity quotient, emotional intelligence, and cross-cultural sensitivity. After earning his medical degree from A.T. Still University, Dr. Babaria completed residency training at University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH, an affiliate of Case Western Reserve University. During this training experience, he received formal training in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona.
