Binie graduated from Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology and Masters in Physical Therapy in 2003. She is an accomplished PT with over 19 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics/sports medicine. Binie enjoys working with a variety of patient populations/diagnoses. Her experience and education have given her a strong background in orthopedic patient care allowing her to understand the specific needs of the patients she works with and customize conventional techniques to benefit specific patients. She has a passion for helping people understand, heal from, and conquer their musculoskeletal disorders. Binie also enjoys working with athletes and is proficient in assessing/treating spinal and extremity pain. Binie uses manual therapy in her practice to help patients overcome pain and improve mobility, but her goal is to empower patients with the tools and skills they need to reduce their pain at home and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Binie recently moved to OR with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, playing/watching sports, and taking in the beautiful scenic PNW!
Taylor takes a pragmatic, collaborative approach to rehabilitation, focusing on each patient’s unique needs and goals while maximizing their ability to stay active and participate in sports. She is a board-certified clinical specialist in sports physical therapy and an NSCA-certified strength and conditioning specialist.
A lifelong athlete, Taylor grew up in Maryland playing soccer and basketball. Today, her primary sports include rock climbing (sport and trad), snowboarding, and split-boarding. Having personally experienced how injury can impact identity, she is intentional about supporting patients through the mental and emotional challenges of rehab, not just the physical recovery.
Since earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2020, Taylor has worked with individuals of all ages and abilities—including NFL players, masters triathletes, middle school athletes, barbell athletes, and those beginning their fitness journey. In the summer of 2023, she had the unique opportunity to serve as the physical therapist for professional circus artists and dancers on a cruise ship in Greece. Taylor believes that everyone, regardless of whether they consider themselves an athlete, deserves high-quality care.
She has a special interest in managing overuse injuries and guiding return to sport after shoulder surgery, Achilles repair, and ACL reconstruction. She contributed to an ACL rehabilitation protocol, specifically authoring the section on return to plyometrics and integrating cognitive tasks with motor skills. Taylor also has expertise in exercise prescription in physical therapy and has presented on the topic at the American Physical Therapy Association’s national conference, in webinars, and as a guest lecturer for Doctor of Physical Therapy programs.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys adventures with her dog, Huck, game nights with friends, and keeps saying she’ll soon revisit her roots as a classical violinist.
