Brandon Mecham, MD, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in treating foot and ankle disorders at Orthopaedic Specialists of Dallas. Dr. Mecham completed his medical education at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class. He then completed his surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Mecham has been published in multiple journals and is currently working on a new research project. He is focusing on developing new postoperative pain management protocols without the use of narcotic pain medications.

Dr. Michael Birau received his Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from William M Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. He completed his residency in Podiatric medicine and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at the James A Haley VA hospital where he served as Chief resident his 3rd year.
Dr. Michael Birau is board certified in Diabetic wound care by the American Board of Multiple specialities in Podiatric Medicine (ABMSP). He is also board qualified in Foot and Ankle surgery by the ABMSP. He is an active member of the American Society of Podiatric Surgery and American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Birau was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and grew up in a rural part of North Carolina. He is married and has 3 boys and is active in his community. He enjoys spending time with his family, grilling, fishing, college sports, and exploring DFW.
