Dr. Borovoy served for 14 years as chief of the podiatry section at Providence Hospital in Southfield and was a past president of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association.

John D. Miller, DPM is a Michigan native who stayed in Ann Arbor to earn his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. At Associated Podiatrists, P.C. in Novi, Michigan, Dr. Miller devotes time to each and every patient to truly understand their condition, listen to their concerns, and treat them in a warm and professional manner.
After earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Dr. Miller went on to complete his surgical training in foot and ankle reconstruction at Highlands/Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver. He joined Associated Podiatrists, P.C. in 2002.

Born in Syria, Rafi's journey is marked by determination, academic excellence, and a deep-rooted passion for helping others. His mother, a mathematics teacher, and his father, a skilled craftsman and sign maker, instilled in him the values of hard work and dedication. In 2004, Rafi's family moved to Michigan, United States, seeking new opportunities and a fresh start.
Driven by his intellectual curiosity and desire to make a difference, Rafi pursued higher education. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Wayne State University. Fueling his ambition further, Rafi went on to achieve a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2020. Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Rafi completed a rigorous three-year podiatric surgical residency program, specializing in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle training at Ascension Macomb Oakland Hospital in Warren, Michigan. This additional credential further fortified his expertise in diagnosing and treating various foot and ankle pathologies.

As a class president for all four years of podiatry school, he served as a voice for his peers and championed their needs and concerns. Brian Burkardt, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and surgeon with over 18 years of experience at Gentle Foot and Ankle Care in Commerce Township and South Lyon, Michigan. Dr. Burkardt is a Michigan native originally from Monroe, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science from Siena Heights University in 1999. He graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 2003 with honors. Dr. Burkardt then went on to complete an extensive three-year surgical residency at Southeast Michigan Surgical Hospital, formerly Kern Hospital. Dr. Burkardt joined Gentle Foot and Ankle Care in 2006. He is currently on staff at Huron Valley Sinai-DMC and Beaumont Royal Oak. He is board certified in both Foot Surgery and Rearfoot Reconstructive and Ankle by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. His clinical interests include bunion correction, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, trauma, and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Burkardt resides in Northville, Michigan, with his wife and three children. He enjoys golf, hunting, fly fishing, and running.
