Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her surgical residency at the prestigious Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. Additionally, she is double board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics.
Dr. Mary has been practicing in the Chicagoland area for over 29 years with extensive experience in all aspects of podiatry, with a specialty in wound and diabetic care. She is also the only doctor in the Midwest who utilizes a unique method of treating fat pad loss with injected sub-dermal fillers to help patients walk more comfortably.

RICHARD J. POWERS, DPM was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and is a graduate of Loyola University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. In 1986, he completed his education in Podiatric Medicine, from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric medicine, and started his post-professional training in a 12-month surgical preceptorship, under the direction of Ronald Cervetti, DPM, in Waterloo, Iowa. Dr. Powers then went on to complete a 12-month surgical residency at Lakeside Community Hospital, under the direction of podiatric author and educator, Dr. Irving Pikscher, DPM, in Chicago.
Dr. Powers has served as a Podiatric Surgical Instructor at Mercy Hospital, Loyola Ambulatory, Oak Brook Surgical Center from 1992 through 2003. He also served as the Residency director of Sacred Heart Hospital from 1998 to 2003.
Dr. Powers is a member of the American and Illinois Podiatric Medical Association and the CME chairman of the Advanced Foot & Ankle IPA.
