Currently practicing at Southwest Foot & Ankle, in St. George, Utah, Dr. Rowley brings over two decades of expertise in comprehensive podiatric care, including advanced surgical interventions and wound care coordination.
Dr. Rowley is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He holds certifications in foot surgery, diabetic wound prevention, and diabetic footwear. He has successfully maintained his board certifications through rigorous recertification processes, demonstrating his commitment to the highest standards of podiatric medicine.
Before joining Southwest Foot & Ankle, Dr. Rowley served as the Lead Staff Podiatrist and Wound Care Coordinator at Riverside-San Bernardino County Indian Health, Inc., where he developed a successful wound care program that consistently exceeded national healing rate averages. His leadership in surgical podiatry services and his dedication to patient care earned him the prestigious "Eagle Award" as Provider of the Year.
Dr. Rowley earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University and completed his surgical residency at Corona Regional Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident. He holds surgical privileges at St. George Surgical Center and Hemet Healthcare Surgical Center, among others.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Rowley enjoys outdoor activities like fishing and camping with his family and coaching youth sports. He remains actively involved in his community through volunteer and leadership roles.
David Magnesen, DPM, has over 20 years of experience in diagnosing and treating all injuries and conditions that affect the lower extremities. He provides integrative podiatric care at Southwest Foot & Ankle in St. George, Utah, Ely, Nevada, and Caliente, Nevada.
Dr. Magnesen completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah, where he was awarded a Trustee Scholarship. He was then accepted into graduate school and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in San Francisco.
After graduation, Dr. Magnesen was accepted into a competitive podiatric residency program at the Lakewood Regional Medical Center in California. To ensure he’s always available to his patients and can provide personalized medical care, Dr. Magnesen went on to work in private practice.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Magnesen can communicate with diverse groups of people. He enjoys spending time getting to know his patients and their families, allowing him to build lasting relationships.
When he’s not busy caring for patients, Dr. Magnesen enjoys staying active by running. He also follows his favorite BYU football and basketball teams around the country. Dr. Magnesen and his wife have one son, three daughters, and three granddaughters.
