Dr. Baskhron is one of the few foot and ankle podiatric surgeons who completed a 4-year residency training focusing only on foot & ankle pathologies. Innjea Park, DPM, FACPM, AACFAS is a board-certified podiatrist and surgeon at Forward Foot & Ankle Associates in Staten Island and Midtown Manhattan, New York. Dr. Park attended New York University and obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics and pre-med, with a minor in East Asian studies, concentrating on the Japanese language. He then received a master’s in biomedical science at the Graduate School of Biomedical Studies at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He earned his doctor of podiatric medicine degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he also co-founded and led the school’s Asian American Podiatric Student Association.

Upon graduation, Dr. Park continued to hone his skills during a three-year surgical residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he served as chief resident during his third year. During this residency, he obtained experience in areas including emergency medicine, foot trauma, pediatric podiatry, vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, and infectious diseases.

Mina Beshai, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and surgeon at Forward Foot & Ankle Associates in Staten Island and Midtown Manhattan, New York. Dr. Beshai is committed to providing professional and patient-centered foot and ankle care for patients at every age. 

Dr. Beshai was raised in Staten Island, and he completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology, minoring in chemistry, within three years at the College of Staten Island. He relocated to Harlem to obtain his doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and the Foot Center of New York. 

He received extensive training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. After completing the program, he maintained a relationship with the clinic and is currently providing podiatric care for their pediatric department.

Dr. Sally Beshai is an experienced Podiatric Surgeon and has received numerous awards for her work. Samantha Sheppard, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist at Garden State Foot & Ankle Specialists, which has six convenient locations: Edison, Woodbridge, Plainfield, Scotch Plains, Springfield, and Linden, New Jersey. Dr. Sheppard graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a dual bachelor’s degree in biology and Italian studies. She earned her medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, graduating at the top of her class.

Dr. Sheppard went on to complete her surgical training at the Atlantic Health System’s Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. Richard Corbin, FACFAS, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist on the team of providers at Garden State Foot & Ankle Specialists, which has convenient locations in Plainfield, Scotch Plains, Springfield, and Linden, New Jersey. Dr. Corbin completed the revered podiatric residency program at Hoboken University Medical Center in New Jersey, serving as chief resident. He then went on to serve as the podiatry section chief at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield, New Jersey, working in the role for over eight years until the hospital closed.

It has been over 25 years since Dr. Corbin joined Garden State Foot & Ankle Specialists, and during this time, he has served on the podiatric residency committee at two of the top programs in New Jersey at Morristown Medical Center and Hoboken University Medical Center. Ketan Kothari, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon by American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS),  with more than 24 years of experience in podiatry. He works alongside a capable team at Frankford Podiatry Associates, PC, with three convinent locations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Kothari earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Genetics from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He continued his education at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, earning his doctoral degree in podiatric medicine. 

After graduating, Dr. Kothari completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency at Tenet Health System, Warminster, Pennsylvania. In additon, he has completed his Podiatric Orthopedic Residency at the Veterans Affairs Franklin Delano Roosevelt Hospital, Montrose, New York.

Dr. Schadegg was born and raised in Southern Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Science in microbiology at the University of Pittsburgh. After several years working in a podiatry office in New York City, she decided to get her own Doctorate at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

She then went on to complete her surgical residency training with the Jefferson Health East region hospital system, with a special focus on reconstructive surgery, Charcot management, and diabetic limb salvage. During her time there, Dr. Schadegg presented her work at several national conferences, as well as served as co-chief resident in her final year. She values listening to each and every patient and constructing treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.

In her free time, Dr. Schadegg enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Nick.

Dr. Patel’s interest in podiatry started with his passion in sports. He completed his undergraduate study at Rutgers University in New Jersey and his Podiatric education at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete a Residency in Podiatric Surgery at St.Joseph Hospital in Philadelphia.

In July 2011, Dr. Patel joined Frankford Podiatry Associates. He is currently on staff at Nazareth Hospital. He is devoted to the practice and well respected by his patients and peers. Dr. Patel is board certified in American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.

In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his wife Neha, his son Shay and his daughter Anaya. In addition he enjoys playing golf, basketball and tennis. He follows many professional sports league on tv. He is a Cowboys fan.
