Aamir Ahmed, DPM, is a fellowship-trained, board-eligible foot and ankle surgeon with extensive training in reconstructive surgery. He currently sees patients at Ankle & Foot Doctors of New Jersey in Millburn, Westfield, and Union, New Jersey.
Dr. Ahmed earned his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine after graduating cum laude with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biomedical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He completed his three-year surgical residency at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey, where he gained surgical experience in adult foot and ankle reconstruction, trauma, arthritic joints, Achilles tendon reconstruction, arthroscopy, Charcot neuroarthropathy, and diabetic limb salvage, with advanced training techniques in wound care.
The following year, Dr. Ahmed went on to complete a pediatric foot and ankle fellowship at The Pediatric Orthopedic Center in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey, under the mentorships of Dr. Mark Solomon and Dr. Mark Rieger. There, he gained experience treating children with foot and ankle congenital deformities, sprains, fractures, growth plate injuries, as well as sports and dance injuries. Some pediatric conditions that Dr. Ahmed has managed and treated include equinovarus deformities (clubfoot), toe walkers, in-toeing, flatfoot, high arch foot, ankle sprains/fractures, and brachymetatarsia.
His fellowship also included advanced and specialized training in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgical techniques, including minimally invasive bunion surgery and gradual deformity correction with the Ilizarov hexapod external fixator. With such a vast background, Dr. Ahmed is well-equipped to treat foot and ankle conditions for all ages.
Dr. Ahmed is also active in training the next generation of foot and ankle surgeons, educating and mentoring podiatric residents at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
His hobbies include playing sports, fitness, and nutrition, and spending time with his family and newborn daughter. As a big foodie, Dr. Ahmed enjoys eating out with family and friends.

He is a Board Certified Surgeon with The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and served as the President of the Board of Directors at the Glen Ridge Surgical Center. In addition, Dr. Coppola is on staff with Hackensack Mountainside Hospital Department of Surgery located in Montclair, NJ and was named a Top Doctor by New Jersey Monthly in 2011.

In 2014, she graduated in the top 5% of her class and completed her residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, a Level II trauma center.
During her time as a resident, Dr. Paternina received comprehensive training in reconstructive surgery of complex foot and ankle deformities, including foot and ankle joint replacement, flatfoot, trauma, limb salvage, and advanced training techniques in treating difficult wounds. Her surgical abilities were so impressive that she earned the title of chief resident during her final year.
In addition to her surgical abilities, Dr. Paternina’s areas of expertise include pediatrics, sports medicine, arthroscopy, cartilage transplantation, plastic surgery, dermatology, and general foot care. She is passionate about education and has devoted her time to lectures and medical studies, both nationally and internationally. Dr. Mina Baskhron is a double board-certified foot and ankle podiatric surgeon. Dr Baskhron is a leader in private practice in New York since 2014. He has performed over five thousand podiatric surgical procedures including some of the most complicated congenital and acquired foot and ankle deformities. Dr. Baskhron is one of the few foot and ankle podiatric surgeons who completed a 4-year residency training focusing only on foot & ankle pathologies. Although Dr Baskhron's focus is on diabetic foot complications, limb salvage & reconstruction, he also treats various foot & ankle disorders, sports injuries, arthritis, flatfeet, bunion and hammer toes. Dr Baskhron completed his pre-medical education at Rutgers University, then he received his medical degree from NY college of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed 4-year Foot & Ankle surigcal residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, Richmond University Medical Center, and Northwell Plainview Hospital. Dr. Baskhron sees patients at Bard Podiatry Associates and Forward foot and Ankle Associates at various lovations. Dr. Sally Beshai is an experienced Podiatric Surgeon and has received numerous awards for her work. Dr. Beshai was trained by Dr. Edward Ferdinando, DPM at the Staten Island Hospital, and continued to gain experience through a long career in private practice. Dr. Beshai has also served in the Burn, Plastic, and Vascular Surgery departments at the Staten Island Hospital, as Chief Podiatric Surgical Resident.
Dr. Beshai has a special interest in diabetic wound care and the management of osteomyelitis and amputation prevention. In addition to her leadership skills and gentle bedside manner, Dr. Beshai is very eager to learn new treatments, techniques, and publications.
Mina Beshai, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and surgeon at Forward Foot & Ankle Associates in Staten Island and Midtown Manhattan, New York. Dr. Beshai is committed to providing professional and patient-centered foot and ankle care for patients at every age.
Dr. Beshai was raised in Staten Island, and he completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology, minoring in chemistry, within three years at the College of Staten Island. He relocated to Harlem to obtain his doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and the Foot Center of New York.
He received extensive training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. After completing the program, he maintained a relationship with the clinic and is currently providing podiatric care for their pediatric department.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Beshai enjoys walking with his two huskies and teaching them new skills. He also loves cruising on his motorcycle.

Innjea Park, DPM, FACPM, AACFAS is a board-certified podiatrist and surgeon at Forward Foot & Ankle Associates in Staten Island and Midtown Manhattan, New York. Dr. Park also specializes in foot and ankle care, including diabetes-related issues, wound care, sports medicine, and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Park is trilingual in English, Korean, and Japanese. He believes that all patients should be treated with respect, honesty, and professionalism.
Dr. Park attended New York University and obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics and pre-med, with a minor in East Asian studies, concentrating on the Japanese language. He then received a master’s in biomedical science at the Graduate School of Biomedical Studies at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He earned his doctor of podiatric medicine degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he also co-founded and led the school’s Asian American Podiatric Student Association.
Upon graduation, Dr. Park continued to hone his skills during a three-year surgical residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he served as chief resident during his third year. During this residency, he obtained experience in areas including emergency medicine, foot trauma, pediatric podiatry, vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, and infectious diseases.
Dr. Park is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. He also has been published in professional medical journals.

Dr. Marianne Lants is part of Huguenot Podiatry Group PC, a practice that offers comprehensive foot and ankle care. Dr. Lants is Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine by ABPM and Board Certified in prevention and treatment of diabetic foot wounds by ABMSP. She provides state of the art care for various foot conditions such as sports injuries, arthritis, flatfeet, bunions hammer toes, nail disorders and diabetic foot care. Dr. Lants attended Long Island University and graduated Hunger College in NYC with BA in Biology. She completed her medical education at New York College of Podiatric medicine in 2004 with a degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Her post-graduate training includes an extensive three year surgical/medical residency program at Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. Teddy Efkarpides received his BA degree from Queens College in 1983 and his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1987.
