Rachel Bright
Nurse Practitioner
At Bright Horizons Mental Health in Sunland Park, New Mexico, our practice is led by Rachel Bright, PMHNP-BC, and is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care for individuals struggling with ADHD, addiction, anxiety, and depression.
With more than 22 years of nursing experience, Rachel has had the privilege of caring for patients in a wide range of settings, including obstetrics, the emergency room, and behavioral and mental health. That diverse background has allowed her to work with people of all ages, from newborns to older adults, while developing a deep understanding of the emotional and physical challenges patients face throughout life.
She earned an Associate’s Degree from El Paso Community College before continuing her education at Walden University, where she completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. As someone originally from El Paso, Rachel values building meaningful relationships within the local community and creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported.
The practice focuses on individualized care, recognizing that every patient’s journey is unique. Whether someone is seeking help for anxiety, depression, ADHD, or addiction, treatment is approached with empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based care designed to support long-term wellness and personal growth. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time fishing and hiking, which helps me stay grounded and maintain balance both personally and professionally.
