After completing Medical school, Internal Medicine residency, and fellowship training in Neurology from India, she came to the United States for further specialization. In the United States, she completed her residency in Neurology at the prestigious Duke University Medical Center, in Durham, NC and pursued further sub-specialty training in Epilepsy at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. She also completed Fellowship training in the areas of Sleep Medicine, Headache/Pain Management and Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

She is currently pursuing 2 year Fellowship in Integrative medicine from University of Arizona.

As a neurologist, Dr. Gupta has special interests in migraine, epilepsy, stroke, and obstructive sleep apnea. Additionally, she works with patients to diagnose and treat different types of dementia, including Alzheimer's dementia, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease.

Furthermore, she specializes in Traumatic Brain Injuries and is one of the few Workers Compensations Physicians in the western part of the state.

Dr. Gupta treats patients of all ages, including children eight and over experiencing Headaches, and children three and over, with Epilepsy. She has a special interest in Integrative Health, including Yoga and Meditation. She offers these modalities to her patients in her Clinic. She also is one of a few Neurologists in the area to treat patients with Traumatic Brain Injury, due to sports or work-related injuries.

She loves getting to know the individuals in her care. She dedicates significant time and effort to understand their symptoms and their unique needs. Dr. Gupta then uses this information to develop custom care plans that minimize uncomfortable symptoms and improve quality of life.
